On October 22, 2019, a PLRB staff member received this email explanation to clarify the adoption language question and the enforcement of current codes throughout Scott County and townships. 

Ms. Jami Neiber, Scott County, MN Building Official wrote:

"Makeup and Use of current MN Building Codes enforced throughout Scott County: https://www.dli.mn.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/sbc_makeup.pdf

Scott County Building Inspection Services are extended to the 11 Scott County Townships only (Belle Plaine, Blakeley, Cedar Lake, Credit River, Helena, Jackson, Louisville, New Market, Sand Creek, Spring Lake, St. Lawrence). All incorporated municipalities within Scott County are serviced by their own building departments."
